I am an educator because I love seeing kids grow and change. I love being there in that “aha moment” and I work hard to get the students to that point.

My husband and I were married in 1973. We have three grown children one of which lives here in Joplin. We are blessed with eleven grandchildren. I love spending time with my family, playing pickleball and bridge. I also have belonged to a book club for more than 20 years. I serve on the Joplin Public Library board and am the vice president of our HOA.
